Indiana Members Credit Union Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee

 Indiana Members Credit Union, headquartered in Indianapolis,Indiana, was founded in 1956 as the Indiana University Medical Center Federal Credit Union on the campus of what has become Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI), and has since grown to 25 branches in Central Indiana, offering members a better financial alternative and a full array of products and services.  Traditionally offering better rates on loans and deposits, IMCU maintains true to its roots by “Keeping It Simple” for members.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Indiana Members Credit Union is a member owned financial institution with each member having an equal vote in the organization.   A volunteer board consisting of nine members is elected, from and by, the membership.  The current Board of Directors members are:

SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE

In addition, a three member, Supervisory Committee is elected from the membership and serves for a 3-year term (Supervisory Committee Job Description). The Supervisory Committee is a volunteer committee charged with the task of overseeing that the member’s assets are adequately safeguarded.  Current Supervisory Committee members are:

TIMELINE

The application process time line for both the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee is as follows:

  • June 30 – Application process opens.
  • August 12 – Application deadline.
  • August 20 – Nominating Committee begins reviewing applications and interviews applicants selected.
  • September 17 – List of slated nominees certified to Board Secretary by the Nominating Committee
  • September 30 - The nominees list will be published online and will also be published in the October newsletter.
  • November 11 - Deadline for submitting filed petitions
  • December 10 – Annual meeting and election in accordance with IMCU By-Laws
